Virtual Bike Rush 2021

 

MECAHNICS

 

Ride Overview

1.        The SRFCC Virtual Bike Rush is open to everyone, male or female ages 18 and above.

2.        This is open to individual bikers or bike groups (maximum of 8 persons per group ride).

3.        Road Bike Cyclists may choose a 50km, 100km or 150km ride.

4.        Mountain Bike Riders may choose from 25km, 50km, or 100km ride.

 

5.        Categories are:

A.     Road Bikes (50km-beginner, 100km-intermediate and 150km-advance):

·         Solo

·         Group (maximum of 8 participants)

B.     Mountain Bikes (25km-beginner, 50km-intermediate and 100km-advance)

·         Solo

·         Group (maximum of 8 participants) 

6.        You may execute your chosen ride in any location in the Philippines (or abroad) as long as the area is not restricted to bicycles, safe and conducive for biking and is not deemed as a “Prohibited Area” by the Inter-agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) or any Government Agency/Office.

7.        Observe Social Distancing and the minimum health standards required by the IATF during your rides.

8.        The winners of this virtual event will receive the following:

A.     Road Bikes:

·         (Beginner)Best Time - Solo:                           2,500 Pesos Plus Medal

·         (Intermediate)Best Time - Solo:                     5,000 Pesos Plus Medal

·         (Advance)Best Time - Solo:                           10,000 Pesos Plus Medal

·         Group, Best Photo:                                        3,000 Pesos Plus Certificate

 

B.     Mountain Bikes:

·         (Beginner)Best Time - Solo:                           2,500 Pesos Plus Medal

·         (Intermediate)Best Time - Solo:                     5,000 Pesos Plus Medal

·         (Advance)Best Time - Solo:                           10,000 Pesos Plus Medal

·         Group, Best Photo:                                        3,000 Pesos Plus Certificate

·         Highest Elevation Gain on Strava Solo:                     3,000 Pesos Plus Certificate    

*Additional Prizes, Gifts and Giveaways will be announced on later dates after sponsorships are finalized.

            How to Register

9.        Go to the 2021 SBFCC Virtual Bike Rush Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/chamberbikerush/) like, subscribe and download the Registration Form.

10.    Fill up the form correctly and email it to: subicbikerush@outlook.com. Wait for our email within 24 hrs. If you have not received any, contact us immediately at 047-252-3180/ 047-252-3190.

11.   Registration fee is:

A.    250 Pesos -Basic (includes e-Bib)

B.    600 Pesos -Regular (includes e-Bib, Dri-fit shirt, raffle ticket/s)

12.    Pay the registration fee and, if applicable, the shipping fee. (Acceptable payment methods are, Gcash and bank deposit.

13.    Send your proof of payment to (subicbikerush@outlook.com).

14.    Participants in the local/nearby areas may also register via walk-in at the SBFCC Office located at the Alava Quay Building, Waterfront Road, Subic Bay Freeport Zone (in front of the SBMA Seaport Building)

15.    Wait for your 2021 Virtual Bike Rush eBib Number sent to your email within 24 hrs. Do not share this eBib Number with anyone. If you have not received any, contact us immediately at 047-252-3180 or 047-252-3190.

How to Submit your Progress

1.      Download the STRAVA Mobile APP on Google Playstore or Apple App Store and create an account linked to your facebook account.

2.        Complete your chosen ride within the period of September 4, 2021, 12:01 am until November 8, 2021, 11:59 pm. Make sure that the ride is recorded through STRAVA via smartphone or fitness watch.

3.        Make sure you upload photos (selfies or group shots) of your ride in your STRAVA Recording. (Yes, it’s a requirement folks!)

4.        Speedometer photos will not be accepted. NO SHARING OF DATA.

5.        Submission must be done on the same date of the ride.

6.        Take a screenshot of your STRAVA showcasing the details of your ride when you finish the ride plus a selfie or a group picture showing your Virtual Bike Rush eBib number.

7.        Share the actual ride via STRAVA to your facebook account and share that facebook post (must be public) to the 2021 SBFCC Virual Bike Rush Facebook Page. (This will ensure that the actual and un-editable representation of the ride will be displayed publicly.)

8.        Only one (1) ride submission is allowed per rider or per group. But you can share as many group or ride photos as you want.

5.        You will receive an email acknowledging the submission of your progress.

6.        The last submission of progress/race status is on November 8, 2021, 11:59 pm.

Basic Rules

1.        “No completion, no reward” policy. Completion of your ride should be supported by digital proof (e.g. STRAVA post and screen shot and photos).

2.        Submissions of progress must be accompanied by proofs of progress (actual STRAVA ride share.

3.        Participants with fraudulent progress submissions will be disqualified from getting their rewards.

4.        Remember to maintain Social Distancing and abide in all the Government Covid-19 restrictions and guidelines. If you are not feeling well or having symptoms, please DON’T GO OUT and ride, stay at home.

5.        Cyclists who fail to complete the ride or submit their results will not receive their Finisher Medals and Certificates. Shipping and delivery fees if applicable, shall be shouldered by the participants.

6.        Unclaimed kits after 30 days from the start of the distribution shall be forfeited.

7.        In cases of accidents, we will give you time to recover and allow you again to complete the challenge if recovery and completion of the challenge is within the duration of the competition (Verification required and a case-to-case basis)
